Rotary President Phyllis Hoffman presents a check to Cedaredge Police Chief Dan Sanders
At the August 6 meeting we were honored to present a check for $1572 to Cedaredge Police Chief Dan Sanders. The proceeds from our Back the Badge event at 4 B's on August 3 will support "boots on the ground" needs of the department. Barb Breitnauer, 4 B's owner also joined us for lunch so we could thank her for donating the restaurant and the beer for the fundraiser. The Cedaredge Rotary Foundation is also establishing a fund for the Cedaredge Police Department to encourage businesses in town to make donations to support our officers. Cedaredge Tire has already committed a portion of their monthly profits to support the police.
