President Mark Condon (left) congratulates October Student of the Month, Brayden Bauer, on his award, which includes a $500 check.

We are proud to recognize Brayden Bauer as our October Student of the Month. His enthusiasm for engineering, dedication to school activities, and growing sense of responsibility reflect the promise and potential of Cedaredge’s next generation of leaders.

A Passion for Learning and Innovation
Brayden is a student at Cedaredge High School with a strong interest in mathematics, science, building, and engineering. He participates in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the Technology Student Association (TSA), Knowledge Bowl, track and field, and e-sports. His involvement has included an e-sports letter and state-level competitions in FBLA, TSA, and Knowledge Bowl.

Looking ahead, Brayden hopes to become a military officer or pursue a career in aerospace engineering, potentially working with organizations such as NASA or SpaceX. He is currently developing a solid-fuel rocket for his capstone class, putting his curiosity and technical skills into practice.

Building Responsibility and Planning for the Future
Brayden shared that working at Fuel Coffee Shop in Delta has made a meaningful difference in his life. Starting work at 4 a.m. on school days requires discipline and commitment, and he credits the experience with helping him become more focused and responsible.

His father, Paul Bauer, has seen that growth firsthand, noting Brayden’s improved engagement with school and strong grades this year.

Cedaredge High School engineering and computer science teacher and TSA advisor Nathan Tullis praised Brayden’s imagination, persistence, and eagerness to learn. His family and Rotary members at the meeting also encouraged him to keep developing his talents and pursuing his ambitious goals.

Brayden plans to apply to colleges in Colorado and explore early admission to a military service academy, with guidance offered by an attendee familiar with the academy experience.

Celebrating Cedaredge’s Young Leaders
The Rotary Club of Cedaredge congratulates Brayden on this well-deserved recognition. His willingness to learn, commitment to personal growth, and enthusiasm for the future are wonderful examples of the potential found among local students.

We wish Brayden continued success as he works toward his educational and career goals!
